Brief

Hemmingodden Lofoten fishing Lodge is a business located in Ballstad, on the beautiful Lofoten islands. The lodge offers accommodation and food, as well as many other really exciting activities. Their customers come from all over the world, to experience a very unique lifestyle in these amazing islands.

In their pursuit of being more than a lodge, they have added new facilities for businesses who for exapmple, would like to have a workshop in an idyllic location, as well as some extra spaces for those who love practicing yoga while in a breathtaking environment.

In order to reach out to their global audience, Hemmingodden leveraged the power of performance marketing.

What we did

We started with a strategy redefinition -what was the objective- as well as a search word analysis, in order to understand what users are searching for before landing on their website.

In order to further boost Hemmingodden's presence and results a new website was required together with a new booking system that made the purchase process seamless. We partnered with Liquid Studio in Barcelona and they managed to give a design overhaul as well as a technology one. The website is now looking better than ever and it has a booking system that is totally unique and highly functional.

Advertising has been a major player in the marketing strategy, both in Social media, as well as in other platforms.

In Social media, we used video campaigns, aiming at capturing the user’s imagination high in the conversion funnel. The videos used were a mix of customer footage as well as professionally created ones, with the objective of showing what any person can enjoy while in Ballstad.

When it comes to converting, Google ads proved really effective as the average customer goes through many touching points before they perform a purchase. As a result, Google Ads had a ROAS of 2 in 2022.
